Opportunities with CNL

Want to work for CNL? Help us make a difference in the climate movement in Lanark County!

  • Climate Network Lanark (CNL) is a not-for-profit organization that brings people together to act on climate change in Lanark County and Smiths Falls. As a small town and rural climate action group, we focus on innovative and practical strategies to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. These include promoting the use of renewable energy; preserving natural systems to absorb carbon emissions; improving energy efficiency; and expanding organic waste composting. We also help the local community prepare for the impacts of climate change by advocating for measures to mitigate the social, psychological, and economic risks of extreme weather and the loss of nature. Now in its third year of operations with three staff members, CNL works closely with local governments and other environmental organizations in our county. We have earned a high degree of respect from these entities and the wider community.

CNL is seeking a forward-thinking, passionate and results-oriented leader to help us respond to growing interest in our programming.
