Lanark Climate Network Thank You to Our Supporters

Mi Casa Theatre’s “Lighting the Way” — Last Fall, 50 community members from Mississippi Mills, age 10-65, created and performed “Lighting the Way” an evening of plays about the Climate. Produced by Mi Casa Theatre, the event also brought together representatives from 15 different environmental organizations to chat with audiences after the shows. The event raised $2300 and the collective was thrilled to give $1300 to the Lanark County Stewardship Council’s Climate Action Plan, and $1000 to the Almonte Tree planting committee. www.micasatheatre.ca

The Gosling Foundation supports transformation of the nature sector to enable it to protect and restore biodiversity for the benefit of all. We’re a small, private foundation established by Dr. Philip R. Gosling, a successful entrepreneur, naturalist, birder and co-founder of the Bruce Trail.

Founded in 2002, the Perth & District Community Foundation (PDCF) has been connecting donors to causes that matter. PDCF pools the charitable gifts of many donors into an income-earning endowment that provides grants to programs targeting youth, seniors, health, education, the environment, arts and culture, sports and recreation and social development in our catchment area. https://www.pdcf.ca/
