Naomi and Paul hosted the 38th Annual Wild Game Banquet for the Almonte Fish and Game Association at the Almonte Civitan on Saturday, February 24, 2024.

They served approximately 250 guests and filled four, 3-gallon buckets of food scraps! This means they diverted 56 pounds of food waste from the landfill! Well done, Naomi and Paul!

They said everyone loved the idea of collecting the scraps for composting and many enthusiastically helped scrape plates into the buckets after the meal.

Naomi and Paul displayed the Just Good Compost lawn sign at the front of the hall and introduced CNL's participation in the program during their speech at the beginning of the evening.
