Funding and Financing Programs: Oil

  • Up to $10,000

  • Anyone who has received money from the Greener Homes Grant or Loan is not eligible to apply. All eligibility can be verified here.

  • Homeowners who heat by oil and whose household is at or below the median household after-tax income (can be verified here) are eligible to receive up to $10,000 upfront to switch from oil heating to a new, energy-efficient heat pump.

  • The Home Winterproofing Program can help you lower your natural gas bill and make your home more comfortable. If your home and household income levels qualify, you’ll get free insulation, draft proofing and a smart thermostat to reduce energy costs by up to 30 percent.

  • You have an Enbridge Gas account in your name, your home is heated with a natural gas furnace or boiler, and you meet ONE of the following criteria:

    • Your household income fits within these levels

    • Or, you receive assistance from one of these government programs
